Farmers’ Markets are a great place in the summer in Muskoka to get fresh produce and to take a look at local crafts. You can find them in most of the local towns. Mark & I have Mark’s handcrafted wooden boats (HarwoodWaterCraft) and my ropework to at Rosseau Farmers’ Market and Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market for years now. It is a great community of vendors and vistors alike. We come home with all our fresh produce for the summer.
This year we have taken the decision not to go to Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market as Mark is concentrating on building, but we will be found at Rosseau Farmers’ Market every Friday 9am-2pm throughout July and August. Such a beautiful spot, down by the water in the Village of Rosseau with Music each week. Why not visit their website to find out more! RosseauMarket.com
We will have Mark’s lovely handcrafted wooden boats once again, his book Lifeboat (about our journeys), my ropework and some new items…call by we will be in the same spot. Don’t forget to look for Beech House Studio!
