Shipping & Policies


I ship via Canada Post.

I always mail Monday’s and Friday’s. I make every attempt to mail within 5 days of receiving a cleared payment (Wedding Orders will arrive in plenty of time for the date you have given). I will keep you fully updated if there are any delays.

Regular Parcel is 2-12 business days depending on location – those in Ontario will receive them very quickly.

Order will be sent via either Small Packet (no tracking) and or for larger items Expediated (trackable) and leave 5-15 business days for delivery via USPS. I can upgrade these please contact me in advance of placing your order. Both are not time guaranteed. VERY IMPORTANT INFO: you are responsible for any customs and brokerage fees.

Smaller packages will be sent International Air 5-15 business days and are not guaranteed. Large items will be sent surface (they go by boat) and can take up to 2 months and are not guaranteed. Faster Shipping is available please contact me before placing your order. VERY IMPORTANT INFO: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOM FEES/ THE UK OFTEN CHARGE CUSTOM FEES AND I CAN”T CONTROL ANY EXTRA CHARGES.

DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING: Every effort is taken to ensure that your knots will arrive safe and sound. If in the unlikely event the box does have damage during shipping which has damaged the item or items please take a photo of the damaged box and items, then let me know immediately. I can then claim against any insurance and refund you. I cannot get a refund for you without proof of the damage.

Refunds and Exchanges

All my work is is custom made at my home in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. I do like my customers to be happy, I pride myself in great customer service and a quality product and so if there is a problem with my work please let me know and give me the opportunity to put it right.

I will consider a return on a case by case basis and if you intend to return the item within 14 days of receiving the item – when the item/items are returned to me in a new condition marking on the package “returned under warranty” via the Postal Service only.

IMPORTANT INFO: You are responsible for the shipping charges & brokerage fees fees. I do not refund shipping costs. I will refund the cost of the ‘item/items’ only. If I have made something special for you then I cannot resell it. So no refunds.

DELAYS: I cannot be responsible for delays in shipping, do let me know if you wish to have tracking numbers or have a deadline prior to your order. I can organise faster shipping and tracking numbers.

EXCHANGES: I am happy to exchange an item returned to me in new condition at your expense with “returned under warranty” on the package. However, you will be charged shipping for the new items and I will have to charge a fee to cover shipping materials and time incurred. I do not accept exchanges returned via UPS or FEDEX, it is best to contact me before returning items.

INTERNATIONAL: (outside USA/Canada) CUSTOMERS: For large orders going surface – I do not guarantee large parcels outside of USA/Canada – just ask)

Due to the nature of rope/the unpredictability of weaving the sizing may be slightly different. No refund OR exchange will be given for this.

I cannot give refunds for cut rope unless damaged.
